Common BMW services we perform.
If your car needs something not listed here, we almost certainly do that too — just ask.
Battery & IBS Registration
Replacing a BMW battery without re-coding the IBS sensor causes premature failure and "increased battery discharge" warnings. We register every battery to the car.
Increased Battery Discharge Diagnosis
The single most common BMW fault we see. We track down parasitic draws systematically — not by replacing parts and hoping. Read our guide →
Oil Service & CBS Reset
Approved BMW LL-01/LL-04 oils, OEM filters, condition-based service reset. Done right and stamped in your service record.
VANOS & Valvetronic
Rough idle, codes, or power loss? We diagnose and repair VANOS solenoid faults, seal failures, and Valvetronic motor issues.
Cooling System
Water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks, electric fans — the BMW cooling system has well-known weak points and we know every one of them.
Brake Service
Genuine BMW or OE-quality pads/rotors, brake fluid flush on schedule, and proper electronic parking brake handling.
Transmission Service
ZF 6HP/8HP fluid and pan service. We use the correct ZF Lifeguard fluid and follow the proper fill procedure to set fluid level by temperature.
Suspension & Driveline
Control arms, thrust arms, wheel bearings, transfer case fluid, differential service. xDrive and rear-drive both fully supported.
Coding & Programming
Module coding for replacement parts (battery, alternator, etc.), retrofits, and feature activations where supported.
Dealer expertise without the dealer markup.
BMW ownership in Atlantic Canada means long winters, salty roads, and a service interval the dealer would prefer you not skip. We do the same factory work the dealer does, with the same diagnostic platform, but treat you like a person, not a profit centre.
Most importantly, we explain what we found, show you the worn parts, and quote in writing before any work happens. No sales tactics, no upsells you don't need.

BMW service questions, answered.
Do you reset the BMW service interval (CBS) properly?
Yes. Every oil and fluid service we perform includes the proper CBS reset using BMW software so your iDrive shows the correct next service date.
Can you register a new battery in my BMW?
Always. BMWs from roughly 2002 onward use an IBS sensor that needs the new battery registered to the vehicle. Skipping this step is the leading cause of repeat battery failure and "increased battery discharge" warnings.
My BMW shows "Increased battery discharge while stationary." Can you find the cause?
Yes — this is one of the most common things we diagnose. Our deep-dive guide walks through what causes it, how we test, and what it usually costs to fix.
Do you work on M cars?
Yes. M3, M5, M2, X5M, etc. — same diagnostics, same approach. Some specialty repairs (like S65 rod bearings) we plan in advance and order parts for.
Will using your shop affect my warranty?
No. Canadian law (and Magnuson-Moss in the US) protects your right to use an independent shop without voiding your warranty, as long as approved fluids/parts are used and the work is documented — both of which we do.
